Longshot Now In Stores.

Alright guys so, as usual I stayed awake till 4 in the morning cause I have messed up sleeping problems. Anyways I decided to go on eliminate and noticed the longshot is now in stores. I'm currently on my ipod right now, so i can not provide any screenshots.

What You Wanted To Know:

How Much Does It Cost?: 320 - Jr. Longshot/3100 - Pro Longshot

Do You HAVE To Scope?: No, you can no scope with the crosshair intact. Its pretty much a normal gun.

Is It Powerful?: Yes, I tested out the jr. on bots. It one shot killed them. (keep in mind they had standard armour)

Is It Fast?: No, the rare of fire is terribly slow. I would suggest NEVER to buy the jr. (unless your just testing it, or for the lolz)

Reloading?: Even worst than the fire rare.

Headshots?: Of course, one shot to the body is one hit on standard. I wonder how much damage a headshot does on a fully upgraded Tank.

Good For Deathmatch?: I wouldn't say its perfect. But it's good enough

Good For Co-Op?:No, I have embarassed myself with it on co-op. I suggest you not do the same.

Comments: I tested this gun out on my friends account. She had sniper armour so I thoughtit would be a good idea. I tried it out on bots so her skill wouldn't go down. It was really good, at first try. It is way better with zooming when your up high at courtyard or roof top. I think ngmoco have done a nice job on this weapon. It seems pretty even at jr. level but I am not quite too sure if it would be even at the pro level. I would recommend this to those who stay back during fights and stay unnoticed as it does have long rare of fire and reload. I am guessing that the pro longshot maxed out will be too overpowered so there might be a little bit of fuss there.

Pros:
-Good Price
-Great Damage
-Balanced Out

Cons:
-Expensive Updates (IMO)
-Only Mean For Campers, not fast paced gamers.


Rating: 3 Stars - I recommend for experienced players to use this.

I have strange sleeping problems too i usually stay up till 4 am and usually sleep till 2 pm. But thats the advantage of staying up lately. Now i get to test the gun before every one.

Edit: Just tested it. It's not for me. I can't win a match with it. It's to slow for me i can't even get a decent shot with auto fire. Imagine trying to shoot a infilsprinter. But that's probably cause i tested a jr but i think if i get a pro maybe i wld be better. Im better when i have constant bullets shooting at someone not 1 every 3 seconds. But until i see ppl pwning the matches and pwning me im not gonna get it.

Haha, yeah I always wait for people to test out the new weapons first before I actually pump some credits in it.

longshot gets 1 star because in any map without high sniping platforms your screwed.... but i guess a dualcannon-longshot combo would kinda pwn....

Maybe you gotta upgrade it some more before it gets good cause we thought the menacer sucked a first and a few weeks later it became the noobtube of the game. So far i don't see it as a threat because i can dodge the shots with my assault.

I also bought the long shot jr and first tried it in bot match and it one hit killed like rawr said and i though wow thats good but compared to its slow rate of fire and reload it isnt for someone who jumps in battle and shoots eveyone. Id think it would be better taking one shot and move along than trying to take multiple shots and get killed. Unless you are zoomed it is kind of hard to hit some one in general. ( not saying its that much easier when zoomed ) Depends on your style of play. I give it a 3 out of 10

I made another account just to test it and I've kept on playin w the longshot nd I've only lost like max 5 matches nd my skill is at 3000+ already at rank 12 and I jus started today

That was back when it first came out. And you know when weapons come out people usually call it nooby (ex.Ripper).
