Titan Pro or Menacer Pro

Eventually im going to ditch my ghook for another weapon and i want one to go with my mag rail. So what do you think is better titan pro or menacer pro.

(From what I experienced and in my own opinion)Titans are really strong but hard to get a decent hit especially when it's 1vs1. However if your pretty good at aiming and your timing is good then go for it. Menacer on the other hand, I get owned by it on a daily basis. I'm planning on buying a Menacer pro but I'll only use it when the room is full of menacers, or for boosting. If I were to choose, I'd pick Menacer.

I personally think Titan is a good choice. I've been a rocket launcher fan for a long time and i've been fine using it till the 7k+ skill levels. Anyways I have a feeling the menacer is going to get pwned (nerfed) sometime soon, so i suggest you don't use it. It will also make you worse at the game (no lie) you'll be unable to aim properly with normal guns anymore. Anyways its all your decision now.

I think im going with the titan because it's does a great deal of damage and is good if you can aim. I think i have pretty good aim and can use it better with my albatross

Nice choice, maybe we can go against with both our launchers and albatross' some time to see who wins ^_^.

w8!!! i think if your going with explosive weapons, then go with HF pro. the base damage is higher than titan, and the arc is easy to get used to. also the titan is dreadfully slow, more slow than you realize (actual rocket speed)

Maybe i will get the hf pro. I had a hf jr and i was doing pretty good with it. But i don't know im still thinking about which to choose

Im getting the hellfire im used to the arc and the damage is better and you can't dodge it like you can dodge titans rockects. Thanks everyone for your suggestions and thanks Wu for the hellfire suggestion it gave me a flashback when i had the hf jr and was exploding ppls left and right

I'm thinking about ditching my Gravity Hook too. I'm gonna have a Ripper Pro with Infiltrator, however I want another weapon besides Gravity Hook. I was thinking Dual Cannon Pro or Vaporizer or Menacer Pro. I have experience with all of them.

I've had the vapo and it's easy to dodge. I've played against ppl with the dual cannon and it's not good for long ranges. So i guess you should get the menacer since it's owning the battlefield right now

Yeah I agree, it usually takes a while for other people to get a kill when using a Vaporizer. My plan was to use DualCannon in more smaller or more crowded areas and switch to Ripper when Airbornes are flying everywhere and maps are more open. And, I don't think Menacers a good idea, cause of what rawrfull said.

Yeah thats a good combo. The dual cannon is perfect for crowded maps and you can pop ppls heads off with the ripper in open maps.

Being A Ripper user, theres no point in any other weapon IMO. Ripper is good for close up as well since you can do head shots easier and such, and its great for mid range as well. Don't go for vaporizer since i personally think thats only good with armors that have +targeting.

Yeah but im craving to buy my first Pro weapon, and to me, DualCannon owns. Yeah Vaporizers only for people who can actually aim, like really pro aim. And Infiltrators have +Targeting.
And+ I already have like 10500 credits, and Im only rank 48, it takes another 3000 credits to get to 51 I think.

It takes 3000 credits from 50 to 51 the once you get to 51 i goes to 1200 credits to 52.

UPDATE: The Menacer has been nerfed as of June 10, 2010. Changes include:
- Slowing down the rate of fire
- Slowing down the projectile travel speed
- Increasing the reload time of the weapon

So yeah AMD, dont get the Menacer.

But yeah. I'd go with the hellfire. It's pretty solid. And when upped enough it can 2hko pretty much anything.



The vap usually takes 2-3 shots to kill. And the beams travel FAST. So it's easy to score kills with that.
And when you get a damage amp... Oh boy. It one hit KO's pretty much anything.

but then again the hf pro with damage amp? thats when your on that double or triple kill swag


EDIT: when hellfire first came out I finished a game with 11 kills
